Welcome to the
Spartanburg Ladies of Harley! We are a group of ladies who are
motorcycle enthusiasts! Some of us are women who ride our own bikes and
some prefer to be a passenger. Ladies of Harley ( L.O.H. ) is a program
sponsored by the Harley Owners Group to support women motorcycle
enthusiasts (both drivers and passengers). It is not a separate
organization within H.O.G., but was established to encourage woman to
become more active in H.O.G. and their local chapters. Remember you
don't have to have your own bike to be a L.O.H. member. We encourage
ladies to participate in chapter events as well as functions
specifically for the ladies. We have organized and participated in
functions like L.O.H. dinner meetings, chapter rides and over nights. We
usually donate to a least one charity per year. This year, as in the
past two years we are holding a Charity Auction. This has proved to be
not only a good fund raiser, but also a great deal of fun. We are a very
friendly social and supportive group, for the ladies as well as the
chapter. We have a lot of fun together and enjoy each others company
very much. Our group is a mixture of ladies ranging in age from their
20's and up and from all walks of life. If you're thinking about joining
the Spartanburg Ladies of Harley give us a try. You won't know what it's
all about and what you are missing if you don't. I invite you to drop by
one of our functions whenever you'd like. The functions are located in
the monthly newsletters calendar or this website's calendar page.
How do you become a member of Ladies of Harley? You must first join the
National Harley Owners Group. You can be either an associate or full
member. Then you can join our local Chapter. Ladies of Harley membership
allows you to participate in all the L.O.H. activities at various H.O.G.
rallies and events. (These may include workshops, seminars, photos, and
other special events.) You will receive a Ladies of Harley pin and a
patch along with all the Harley Owners Group items. You will be
identified as a registered L.O.H. member by having the letters L.O.H. on
your H.O.G. card. L.O.H. membership is free to active H.O.G. members. To
join, call: 1-800-CLUB HOG. Remember Ladies Of Harley is for ALL female
motorcycle enthusiasts, whether you ride on the front or the back of the
bike. We look forward to getting to know you at one of our upcoming
events!
